Tenaya Lodge

Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a classic mountain resort set two miles from Yosemite National Park’s southern gate, surrounded by noble evergreen forest and a rich range of Sierra recreation. Right now at Tenaya Lodge, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Each holiday season, Tenaya Lodge gathers its guests into the warm embrace of its heartfelt hospitality. The Grand Lobby, with its two-story fireplace and 30-foot holiday tree, is festooned with wreaths, garlands and additional lighted trees. It’s the center of Tenaya’s holiday festivities, where guests mingle and linger over a mulled cider, while enjoying a musical performance. Tenaya’s family-friendliness kicks into high gear during the holidays, with contests, crafts sessions, sledding, skating and, of course, visits from Santa Claus. Directions

Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is located 55 miles north of Fresno International Airport (FAT) on State Highway 41 and 2 miles from the south entrance to Yosemite. During the winter months, snow chains may be required on State Highway 41 or Highway 49. For highway information and snow chain requirements, please call 800-427-ROAD . When chain control is in effect, all vehicles (including 4 wheel drive) must carry tire chains. In extreme weather conditions even 4 wheel drive vehicles will require chains.

Yosemite Dining & Restaurants

Offering regional cuisine and fireside dining, Tenaya Lodge Sierra Restaurant is heralded for Executive Chef Frederick Clabaugh’s distinctive “Sierra Alpine” cuisine. The Sierra is also host to seasonal “Taste of the Sierra” Wine Dinners where five-course meals are paired with the best vintages of a selected winery. For casual dining, guests can head to Jackalope’s Bar & Grill, Parkside Deli or select from Tenaya Lodge’s extensive in-room dining menu. The lodge is happy to pack delicious box lunches to take along on Yosemite trips.

Pet Frendly

To show our appreciation for our four-legged friends, we have created the "Canine Companion", accommodation for guests and their dog. Our canine guests will receive complimentary doggie treats and a supply of "poop scoop" disposable mitts.
Pet accommodations include a plush dog bed and water bowl, and a Canine Concierge fact sheet with fun suggestions on pet friendly areas to roam, as well as doggy do's and dont's during your stay.
