Fior d' Italia, America's Oldest Italian Restaurant, has proudly served the citizens of and visitors to San Francisco since 1886. Located in the North Beach section of San Francisco in the historic San Remo Hotel, "The Fior" specializes in traditional Northern Italian cuisine and old world hospitality. We can assist you in many ways to make your function memorable
to include great cuisine, wine, service, transportation and mementos
of the Fior d' Italia and San Francisco.
Our four private banquet rooms, accomodating from 6 to 100 guests, are available for meetings, receptions, luncheons, and dinners seven days a week. Exclusive use of the entire restaurant for up to 250 guests is also available depending on time and day of the week.
We know you and your guests will enjoy our great cuisine and old world service and recommend you treat your guests to a memento of San Francisco. Among other things we offer our recently published, history of Fior d' Italia complete with recipes from over the years, The Fabulous Fior - Over One Hundred Years in an Italian Kitchen by Author Francine Brevetti. The book and other items from our restaurant's gift shop will be cherished gifts and add to your guest's fond memories of your hospitality.

Banquet/Party Information
Please examine our banquet menu offerings.
Please use the following guidelines when setting up your banquet:

8-30 guests choose up to 4
30-45 guests choose up to 3
45-60 guests choose up to 2
60+ guests choose only 1*
* Unless exact entree counts can be given 48 hours in advance.
Packages I & II are not available Friday or Saturday nights. The restaurant requires a minimum guarantee 48 hours prior to your event. You will be charged for that number of guests guaranteed (food and beverage) with an allowance of 10% over or under your final count.
A private bartender/bar is available for $30.00 per hour (minimum 2 hours).
A private bartender/bar is required for parties of 30 or more if drinks are COD.
The restaurants reserves the right to request a non-refundable deposit for parties booked. For parties booked for the month of December, a $20.00 per person non-refundable deposit is mandatory.
The restaurant has selected Audio/Visual equipment available that can be included with the room and meal or used for a nominal additional charge. Our equipment includes the following: Podium, overhead Projector, Slide Projector, Screens, Microphones/Speakers and Amplifiers. Ask the Management for details
The private rooms will be reserved at the convenience of the restaurant. If you desire a specific room you must guarantee at least the minimum for that room (price to be negotiated). Even with the guarantee, the management may preempt the space if in the best interests of the restaurant or other customers, or if the change becomes unavoidable.
Transportation Options
We can arrange transportation for your group if necessary. The following are prices and options. If you need other arrangements please let us know and maybe we can help.
One-way transfer from Fior d' Italia to Beach Blanket Babylon (or other local venue) or from Beach Blanket Babylon to Fior d' Italia:
10- Guests $13.00 per person or less*
20- 28 Guests $9.00 per person or less*
40-50 Guests $7.00 per person or less*
Pick up at local hotel or location and transfer to Fior d' Italia or to Beach Blanket Babylon (or other local venue). Transfer to venue from Fior d' Italia or to Fior d' Italia from venue and then return to hotel or original or other local destination:
10- Guests $23.00 per person or less*
20- 28 Guests $18.00 per person or less*
40-50 Guests $10.00 per person or less*
