Ristorante Fior d'Italia
Fior d' Italia, America's Oldest Italian Restaurant, has proudly served the citizens of and visitors to San Francisco since 1886. Located in the North Beach section of San Francisco in the historic San Remo Hotel, "The Fior" specializes in traditional Northern Italian cuisine and old world hospitality. A favorite of locals and visitors alike, the restaurant is the ultimate San Francisco dining experience. It has been said, "If you haven't dined at 'The Fior' you haven't been to San Francisco".

Cuisine: In keeping with the Fior d' Italia's historic role in building the great tradition of excellent cuisine for which San Francisco and San Francisco's North Beach are so famous, Chef Gianni Audieri, today, offers close to ninety items on the restaurant's very extensive menu. "The Fior's" customers rate it as one of the area's Top 10 Restaurants and the Calamari, Gnocchi, Osso Buco and Caesar Salad as "the best" in San Francisco. Veal and pasta dishes are also highly rated. The restaurant makes most of the pasta it serves in house, along with all of the sauces. Essentially, almost everything served at the restaurant is prepared on site and is fresh from the Fior d' Italia kitchen.
